Hello, and welcome! My name is Paula, and I am passionate about helping students gain confidence and achieve their goals in English. Learning English doesn't have to be stressful—I believe it should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence. Every student is unique, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, learning style, and goals.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans and can teach in either language. This is especially helpful for Afrikaans-speaking students who may need concepts explained in their home language before applying them in English.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous work, followed by clear explanations of new concepts, guided practice, and interactive activities. I provide constructive feedback throughout the lesson and adapt the pace to ensure each student fully understands the material before moving on.
