About Aarthi
Hi! I'm Aarthi, a postgraduate student at Queen’s University Belfast with a strong interest in mathematics, problem-solving and helping students learn with confidence.
My academic background in Accounting, Finance and Analytics, along with over three years of professional experience, has helped me develop strong numerical and analytical skills.
I understand that maths can sometimes feel challenging, but I believe that with the right explanation and a little patience, anyone can improve. My approach is to break down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps and use practical examples to make learning easier.
I'm friendly, patient and approachable, and I encourage students to ask questions without hesitation. I adapt my teaching style to each student's pace, whether they need help understanding the basics, completing homework or preparing for exams.
My goal is not just to help students find the correct answers, but to help them understand the reasoning behind them and become more confident in maths.

I believe maths becomes much easier when it is explained in a simple and practical way. My lessons are designed to help students understand concepts clearly, improve their problem-solving skills and build confidence at their own pace.
I take a friendly, patient and step-by-step approach to teaching. I start by understanding each student's strengths and areas where they need extra support, then tailor my lessons to suit their learning needs.
My lessons focus on:
- Explaining mathematical concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
- Using practical examples to make difficult topics less confusing.
- Helping with homework, revision and exam preparation.
- Practising questions together to improve accuracy and confidence.
- Encouraging students to ask questions freely and learn from mistakes.
I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students never feel afraid to make mistakes or ask questions.
**My goal is to make maths less stressful, more enjoyable and easier to understand, while helping every student become a confident and independent learner.**
