About Megan
I'm a very creative person so I'll be the right tutor for you if you are hoping to learn in a fun way. I'm also a voracious reader, and I'm sure that I can inspire you to read for pleasure too. My style is inclusive, I adapt all my lessons to suit the child I am working with. I love coming up with new ideas for lessons, and those lightbulb moments when my students understand something for the first time.

Hello, my name is Megan. I am a Primary School teacher with many years of experience in the classroom. I have a PGCE with QTS and have worked as a primary school teacher for five years teaching a full curriculum. I also have a CELTA qualification, meaning that I am qualified to teach English as an additional language. English is my speciality area as I have achieved A* grades in my own school exams, and I studied illustration at university so I bring a creative approach to everything that I do.
Although English is my specialist area, I am very experienced at teaching the full Primary curriculum and very knowledgeable in KS1 maths, science etc. I am also very adept at working with children with learning difficulties including autism, multiple learning difficulties, attachment disorder, anger management issues etc, as I have worked in a school with a high intake of SEND students for a long time. I am experienced in working in SATS years 2 and 6 and have a proven track record of helping children achieve excellent results in their exams.
