About Alice
I finished my A-Levels in the summer of 2021, achieving 3 A*s in maths, further maths and physics. I am now a second year maths undergraduate at the University of Bath. I have experience teaching swimming lessons for 4 years to a range of ages and abilities.
Having recently been in school and sat exams, achieving a grade 9 in my GCSE maths, I am able to provide support in all areas of maths, whether It's following along the school curriculum, help with specific topics, or helping prepare for exams.

In a busy classroom environment, it can be hard to keep up with new maths concepts and students can be reluctant to ask for help. My aim is to help identify gaps in students knowledge and to practice new skills in order to ensure the right mathematical building blocks are in place. Developing students mathematical curiosity and supporting them to persevere through hard work are key aspects of my approach, and to developing their confidence and pride in new skills.
