My lessons for GCSE and A levels:
My first session with students includes working with them to find out where they want to improve, what they would like to achieve at the end, and overall their own goals.
My lessons are interactive and require a lot of participation as active learning is proven to be the best way to understand and retain information.
My lessons also include lots of exam practice as this is often an area where most students struggle, especially at A levels. Due to this I work with students to perfect their exam technique, allowing them to obtain as many marks as possible.
I also ensure that my students understanding of the syllabus and content is good, I do this through teaching and working through areas of the specification in ways that help the student best understand. I have many techniques, tips and tricks to help teach the content in the most efficient and fun way.
My experience:
I have been a tutor for over 6 years, with over 4000 hours of teaching experience. Not only have all my students improved in their grades, confidence, and exam technique, I have also supported their transition to A levels/University. I help students with their personal statements, interview techniques, and give them lots of advice for further education. Tutoring for me is a passion and I enjoy working with my students to create the perfect learning environment, I am also happy to speak with my students outside of lesson time, help them with any queries/questions, and overall support them.
If you have any questions please let me know, I will be happy to help. Please note that I will not be able to reduce tuition fees as my prices are based on my experience and qualifications.
