About Samuel
I am Olajide Samuel Olukayode. A Nigerian and final year student of Federal University of Technology, Minna. I study Biochemistry.
With my great passion to impact knowledge onto people behind me and anyone that may finds chemistry difficult or need better insight into the course, I started having personal Tutorials with them right from high school till now. It is my great passion to simplify chemistry for anyone and let them see the course is not as hard as it seems to.

With many personal tutorials I've had with different students over the years, I've been able to develop my own approach to teaching this course which involves the following below;
1. Asking questions from students on what they know about a topic before commencing the tutorial for the day.
2. Teaching students not just as a tutor, but also as a friend, which allows better comprehension and communication of ideas.
3. I allow my students to freely ask questions for better understanding
4. Classwork/questions to be sure students got what was taught before giving assignment.
5. As for students that find it hard to comprehend, I go extra miles to finding new ideas to deliver the tutorial in a way they can comprehend. Also, I try to encourage the students and let them know they can actually learn, understand and be great in the course.
6. A recap on previous class(es) (as the case may be) is also always done before proceeding to the work of the day.
7. I set standard questions that will prepare the students for internal and external examinations. I also extract questions from external sources.
8. For every new topic, I make sure I start the explanations from the most basic level and gradually get it higher as the student flows along.
9. I've realized a good mood in teaching will also enhance the student's comprehension. So, I'm always in a good mood while tutoring.
10. I recommend materials for further reading and added information for students that may be interested.
