About Salima

I am a French native with a lifelong passion for foreign languages, which led me to study them at university and earn my degree. I am currently teaching French at one of London’s top schools, the City of London School, and I also hold a TEFL certificate. Every summer, I work at Dulwich College helping students improve their English skills.

My lessons are designed to build confidence, encourage curiosity, and make learning enjoyable. I incorporate current affairs, music, movies, art, literature, and cultural topics, so students can connect language learning to the real world. I believe learning should be pressure-free, and my goal is for students to enjoy every step of their journey. One of my favorite reminders to my students is: as long as we are learning, we are succeeding.

About the lesson

I offer tailored French lessons designed to help students excel in GCSE and A-Level exams, with a special focus on speaking and oral fluency. I guide students through interactive speaking activities, exam-style discussions, and structured practice to boost confidence and performance. I also cover listening, reading, and writing skills using proven methods like PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production) and TTT (Test-Teach-Test). Lessons are typically 40 minutes but can be adapted to your individual needs.
