About Quentin

I am an Undergraduate at University College London (UCL) studying English language and Literature.

I was born in France and French is my native tongue. I have achieved a grade 9 in French iGCSE. I have also passed the DELF C1 French examination. English is also my native language as I have lived in England most of my life, making me fully bilingual.

I have experience teaching French at primary school level, am currently teaching French to an adult learner, and have 2 years of tutoring experience in other subjects ranging from mathematics to religious studies. I am able to adapt to any level of French - whether it is someone aiming to excel at their next French exam, or someone wanting to master parts of the language most useful for their upcoming trip to Paris. This is because my teaching approach is individualised and tailored to pupils' abilities and needs.

About the lesson

My teaching method is a comprehensive one. I aim to ensure that the student fully remembers vocabulary, and uses key rules to help him/her conjugate.

I teach at any level: from a complete beginner to someone that is looking to improve more complex French grammar.

My method is also highly tailored to the pupils' needs. If you are learning French to pass an exam, I will focus on your weaker areas and target those to ensure they maximise your abilities. If you are learning French as a complete beginner, I will target essential vocabulary and begin looking at grammar. If you are learning French to be able to make your way around Paris or Bordeaux, I will focus on the vocabulary most useful for making your tourist experience the best.

My lessons are typically 1h long.
