About Kaya

With eight years of teaching French, I’ve guided learners from various backgrounds toward fluency and cultural understanding. I believe that learning a language is not just about vocabulary and grammar but also about connecting with the culture and mindset behind it. I use an interactive approach to teaching, making lessons engaging by incorporating real-life examples, music, and storytelling. My aim is to create a space where students feel comfortable experimenting with the language, allowing them to gain confidence and improve quickly. Outside of teaching, I immerse myself in the French-speaking world through literature, films, and travel, ensuring that my lessons are not only linguistically accurate but also culturally enriching.

About the lesson

My French lessons are designed to help students develop a natural, conversational grasp of the language while gaining cultural insight. Each session combines grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural elements, ensuring that students understand not just how the language works, but also how it is used in everyday life. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and goals, ensuring they progress at their own pace. Beginners start with essential vocabulary, common phrases, and pronunciation exercises, while intermediate learners focus on conversation practice, writing, and comprehension of texts. Advanced students explore idiomatic expressions, cultural references, and deeper readings in French literature and history. I use music, films, and current events to make lessons engaging and relevant. My goal is to make learning French an enjoyable experience, where students feel confident not only in their language skills but also in their understanding of the culture behind the language.
