Ella has been tutoring my son for a few months in advance of his year 7 school entrance exams. I have always found her to be an incredibly positive teacher. She is warm, and encouraging and has helped to build my son's confidence as he prepares for his exams. Ella is very prepared, always with a lesson plan designed with my son in mind. She follows up with a timely and thorough summary of what was covered in the session along with any observations or future lesson plans. Ella has focused on the key areas of improvement, teaching my son directly or providing him with guidance including methods of study or exam writing tips. Ella comes highly recommended!

Ella worked with our twin sons, aged 10, each week, to help prepare them for their 11+ exams. She covered verbal and non-verbal reasoning, Maths and English (including comprehension and creative writing) plus she gave them some interview practice. Both of our boys have very different learning styles and needs, including SEN. Ella adapted her approach beautifully to each child and was extremely thoughtful and diligent in her planning for each lesson.

Our boys absolutely loved being taught by her and found her immensely positive approach very encouraging and helpful. Ella is very patient and creative and makes lessons fun.
