About Ruben

Hi, I'm Ruben! I'm a Business & French graduate from the University of Liverpool, where I achieved a 2:1 degree and developed a strong passion for languages and communication.

I have C1-level French and achieved an A in A-Level French. I also had the opportunity to study and live in Toulouse, France, which allowed me to develop my French through everyday conversations and experience French culture first-hand.

I enjoy meeting new people and helping others become more confident in their abilities. Through my experience as a University Student Ambassador, I regularly gave presentations, led campus tours and communicated with students and visitors from different backgrounds.

I am friendly, patient and approachable, and I will always aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether you're preparing for an exam or learning French from scratch, I'm here to help you make steady progress and enjoy the process.

About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, personalised and adapted to each student's level and goals. I use a combination of conversation, vocabulary, grammar and practical exercises to help students build both their knowledge and confidence in French.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students, beginners and adults looking to improve their conversational French. For exam students, I can focus on speaking, grammar, vocabulary, written work and exam preparation.

I am a Business & French graduate from the University of Liverpool, achieved an A in A-Level French and have C1-level French. I also studied and lived in Toulouse, France, giving me first-hand experience using French in everyday situations.

I aim to make each lesson engaging and practical, while focusing on the areas where each student can make the most progress.
