About Ella

Hi! I'm an incoming master's student at HEC Paris with a passion for the French language and culture. I achieved a H1 in Leaving Certificate French and have continued to develop my skills through classes at the Alliance Française, independent study, and reading French literature.

As someone who has completed the Irish school system, I understand the challenges students face when learning French and preparing for exams. I enjoy helping others build their confidence and making the language feel more approachable and enjoyable.

Whether you need help with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, homework, or exam preparation, I'm committed to creating supportive, engaging lessons that are tailored to your individual goals. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop a genuine appreciation for the French language.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs and learning style. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I focus on building confidence in all areas of French, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, speaking, and exam techniques.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although shorter sessions can be arranged if preferred. During each lesson, we'll review any areas the student is finding difficult, practice with exam-style questions, and work on developing strong study habits to help them improve both in class and in exams.

I achieved a H1 in Leaving Certificate French and am continuing to study the language, currently working towards C1 level. Having completed the Leaving Cert recently, I have a strong understanding of the current Irish curriculum and the skills needed to succeed in French exams.

My lessons are ideal for Junior Cycle students of all abilities, whether they need extra support, want to improve their grades, or are aiming for top marks.
