About Ava

I’m currently in my first year in University of Limerick studying Business Studies with French. I have a strong passion for the language and wish to teach the language in the future. I achieved a H1 in Higher Level Leaving Cert French and currently at an A1 level in college. I aspire to motivate students to want to learn the language and build their confidence ability in all areas involved in the exam.

About the lesson

In the first session, we’ll discuss what are the particular strengths and weaknesses the student has with the subject and I’ll then customize the lesson with the aim to improve and build the students’ ability and proficiency with the language. I mainly have Leaving Cert experience but can also do Junior Cert. I’ll provide strong notes for the written section of the paper and give tips and tricks to answer the comprehension to a high level. The lesson will mainly be in French in order to improve their aural comprehension and to improve their ability to answer en français for the oral exam. Each lesson will be around an hour long.
