About Adrian
I am a 23 yo French postgraduate student in International Relations at the London School of Economics. I also hold two undergraduate degrees in Sociology and History and a master degree in History from the Universities of Oxford and Sorbonne.
Born and raised in Bordeaux, I then moved to Paris for my undergrad and used to live in the UK, Belgium and the US. I am a French native speaker and am fluent in English. I also speak German and am currently learning Italian and Farsi/Persian.

I have been giving formal & informal private lessons to young kids, students and adults for the past 5 years, mostly in France (Paris and Bordeaux) and I used to do volunteer tutoring every week in high school.
I like to start by listening to my student (and their parents if relevant) to try and map their needs and adapt my teaching. Depending on my student's expectations, I will put the emphasis on what is more relevant to them (oral comprehension/expression, reading, writing) or keep these four elements balanced.
I work with a variety of materials (books, press articles, movies, series, songs) but most importantly, I believe that a language must be spoken aloud and that having regular conversations with a native speaker is the best option.
Closely following the progress of my student and in agreement with them, I can reevaluate my methodology.

I adapt my tariffs depending on my student's needs. University level students and adults will be charged the full amount indicated above while students under 18 will get a 10% discount.
The cost of travel is indicative and depends on the distance/time.
