About Camélia

I am a passionate French teacher who loves making learning enjoyable and effective. With over five years of teaching experience in schools and strong academic qualifications in education, I design lessons that are dynamic, personalised, and adapted to your interests. My goal is to help you feel confident, motivated, and excited about speaking French in real life.

About the lesson

I am Camélia, a French native speaker from Northern France, currently living near Sutton. With a degree in Educational Sciences and a Master’s year in teaching (MEEF), I have taught in French secondary schools for over five years and now work as a French teacher in two grammar schools in the UK. My lessons are dynamic, modern and based on your interests – whether that’s music, films, travel or culture – so that learning French becomes both enjoyable and effective. I focus on real, contemporary French, the language you will actually hear and use in daily life. I can help you as a beginner, intermediate or advanced learner, prepare for exams, or simply build your confidence in speaking. During lessons, I use a variety of resources such as videos, books, social media and authentic French materials.
