About Andrea

Hi!

My name is Andréa Dauphin and I am currently pursuing a psychology degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a minor in Criminal Justice. I am 20 years old, almost 21, and am from a little city in the south of France. I spent most of my life there and moved to Las Vegas 3 years ago.

I already gave English lessons back at home for students with difficulties and grew a lot from it. Giving French ones is also something I did and I wish to continue now I'm here.

My qualifications on the topic are numerous. I have been taking French classes since my first year of elementary school and ended up graduating high school with the highest grade in the French final exams. I also took two upper-course French classes while in college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas that I passed with an A+ grade for both. I am a good reader, a good writer (I wrote a book that I intend to publish one day), and I can help you with anything including grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary...

About the lesson

Hi,

A typical lesson with me would be from an hour to an hour and a half depending on what you need. We can talk about what we will have to go over in advance of the session and establish a learning tracking sheet. It is a grid used to track your evolution week by week, session by session, that you can also use when we are not working together to auto-evaluate yourself and that will be entirely personalized.

I am patient and can explain things in multiple different ways to fit your learning preferences. I already tutored a lot in France and found it beneficial to listen to my student's needs first and to communicate a lot with them to know what was their favorite way to be taught.

The lessons can be for classes, if you're just trying to learn some French in your free time... I accept any level from extreme beginner to confirmed French speaker.
