About Manon

Hi! My name is Manon and I'm an engineer in biotechnology in France. Well, to be more precise, I was an engineer, but I am now taking a sabbatical year to travel. I have been tutoring children as a part-time job during my studies, and now that I've started travelling, I decided to keep going in order to help me fund my travels. I am hitchhiking and volunteering in different countries, so my day to day schedule always changes. However, I can always find some time and a good internet connection for work. While travelling, I've been able to go to several schools and teach French and English as foreign languages. I look forward to hearing from you :)

About the lesson

I have been tutoring and teaching children - from primary school to high school - for the past seven years, both online and in person. Recently, I've started teaching French as a foreign language in other countries. My lessons are for all levels and ages. I can adapt to you and create personalised lessons, specially curated for you. I can offer three main types of lessons: immersive ones where I will only speak French, conversational lessons for those who wish to practise their spoken French, and lessons following a thematic or a school programme. I can also create exercises and prompts for you, help you with grammar, make you practise through reading and listening comprehension as well as writing essays. The methodology and the way the lessons are structured entirely depends on you and what works best. If you have a goal in mind or simply need help reviewing your French lessons, I would be happy to help you. I typically offer 1h every week, but we can also increase the number of lessons or the time spent in each session so that you can learn in the best conditions.
