About Simeon

I am a third-year Computer Science student currently studying abroad at the University of Sydney. Originally from Lausanne, Switzerland, I completed the first two years of my degree at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), one of Europe’s leading technical universities. Teaching has always been something I enjoy. During my studies, I often helped classmates and friends when they struggled with a subject. I find great satisfaction in sharing knowledge, explaining concepts in simple ways, and seeing others progress. Teaching is not only rewarding for me, but it also helps me deepen my own understanding. By combining my strong academic background with my passion for helping others, I aim to provide clear, patient, and effective tutoring that gives students both confidence and solid results.

About the lesson

I have several years of tutoring experience, both at university and high school level. At EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland), I worked as a student assistant for one year in Object-Oriented Programming and Physics, helping students understand complex concepts and guiding them through exercises. I also provided private tutoring in Mathematics throughout my high school years.

My teaching style is adaptive and student-focused: I always adjust my explanations and examples to match the student’s level and learning style. Whether you prefer step-by-step problem solving, practical exercises, or theory-focused lessons, I make sure the sessions are clear, interactive, and effective.

A typical lesson lasts 1 to 2 hours, but I am flexible and can extend sessions up to 4–5 hours when needed (for example, during exam preparation).

My lessons are suitable for:

High school students who want to strengthen their knowledge in Maths, Physics, or Computer Science.

Pre-university or first-year university students who need extra support in technical subjects.

Anyone interested in learning French, as I am a native French speaker from Switzerland.
