About Melyss

I am a bilingual French and English speaker and a mother of three, and I have been tutoring for the past 15 years. Over the years, I have supported learners in building confidence in French by breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps. I know firsthand the challenges of learning a new language, especially French, and I focus on making the process easier, clearer, and less stressful. My goal is to help students feel comfortable and supported while steadily improving their speaking, grammar, and overall understanding of French. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs, whether they are beginners, school students, or individuals looking to strengthen their French skills.

About the lesson

Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level and needs, focusing on building strong foundations in vocabulary and grammar, improving pronunciation and speaking skills. A typical lesson includes a short review of previous material, introduction of a new topic, guided practice through exercises or conversation, help with homework or school assignments, and a brief recap to reinforce learning. My lessons are ideal for beginner French learners, middle and high school students, and anyone needing help with homework, exams, or basic French speaking, reading, and grammar skills.
