About Aubrey
I am a French tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and a Master’s in French Linguistics. My passion for the language began with an interest in communication and culture, which later developed into a professional path in teaching. Over the years, I have worked with learners from different backgrounds, helping them build strong foundations and improve their fluency step by step. My goal has always been to make French feel approachable and understandable for everyone.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive. I believe that learners improve best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without fear. I use simple explanations, clear examples, and steady practice methods to guide students. Each lesson is adapted to match the student’s level and learning speed, ensuring they feel confident as they progress. I focus on building both knowledge and self-confidence at the same time.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French literature, films, and cultural content, which helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons. This allows students to experience the language beyond textbooks and connect with it more naturally. I find great satisfaction in seeing students grow from hesitation to confidence. Helping learners express themselves clearly and comfortably in French is something I deeply value, and I remain committed to supporting their journey with patience, clarity, and encouragement at every step.
