About Tracey

I have a degree in French and Italian, and a 120-hour TEFL certification, and I am excited to bring my love of learning to students who are learning Italian. I am calm and patient and able to explain tricky concepts in a clear way. I can engage students in interesting lessons, ensuring that anything they are struggling with can be tackled with confidence.

I have the skills and qualities to offer students a positive and successful tutoring experience. In particular, I have worked for many years with young children as a registered childminder, so I understand the way that children learn. I also have experience working with college students and adults so I can adapt my lessons to what the student needs. I'm very flexible, and happy to discuss any options you would like to consider.

About the lesson

I can provide lessons to secondary students up to GCSE level, to cover any topic or issue they find difficult, or to challenge and motivate them to keep progressing. I can help with vocab practice, or use games and activities to make the lessons fun and entertaining, and to help skills and confidence grow. I can provide lessons for primary students, whether they're from a bilingual family or they're just starting their language journey. I can make language learning fun for preschoolers and toddlers, and I can help adult learners with their studies too, whether it's beginner level or looking to polish up intermediate skills.

Lessons can be 30 minutes or 60 minutes, and we can make a plan together based on your current level and what your goals are, so that we can ensure the lessons are adapted to exactly what you would like to learn.

I offer lessons for homeschooled students too.

I have previously run a French conversation club for primary school students, I've tutored Italian college students for their English literature studies, and I have run English conversation classes for Italian taxi drivers. I have also tutored mature English students with beginner Italian lessons.
