About David
Learning to speak a second language is far from impossible. It can be a challenging, yet very rewarding experience. As a second-language learner, myself, I understand the process and mechanics of effective language learning and have applied these skills professionally as an ESL teacher for 10 years and an FSL teacher for an additional 17. As a French educator, I have taught it all at both the elementary and senior levels: Core French, Extended French and French Immersion. I have worked as an instructor and coordinator for Canadian Parents for French, Explore and as a translator for Katimavik. I have even had the unique opportunity of working as a youth ambassador and bilingual tour guide at Canada’s national historic site at Vimy, France. Access to these experiences starts with effective language learning, a little self-confidence and trust in the process. Let me be your guide to bilingualism!
