About Tyra
As a third year French education student, I have already completed three internships at different French immersion schools in my community, teacher over 45 classes. I have taught kids both at the starting and intermediate levels, and therefor have a understanding of their particular needs.
As a future teacher, I like to make an effort to really get to know my students, if they have any hobbies or interests I could possibly incorporate into my teaching.

I am in French education so I am constantly making lesson plans, homework assignments & learning new and fun ways to not only help the students to gain a better knowledge of the language but a passion for it as well.
I grew up going to a francophone school, in a family full of anglophones. Though my parents made an effort to help with my assignments, there wasn’t much they could do for me. I understand the difficulties that come with learning a language in a minority setting and I find fun ways of making it more convenient.
