About Ella

Bonjour! I’m Ella, a native French speaker. I’m currently travelling while teaching online, so I understand how languages can open doors, build confidence and create meaningful connections around the world.

If you’re looking for someone patient, supportive and easy to talk to, I’d love to help you make French a language you genuinely enjoy speaking.

French Coffee Chats - bring your coffee, I’ll bring the French.

These aren’t traditional French lessons.

Think of them as a relaxed conversation with a native speaker, where you can practise real French in a comfortable, judgment-free space.

My French Coffee Chats are designed for learners who already know the basics and want to stop translating in their heads and start speaking more naturally. During our chats, I’ll gently correct your mistakes, help you improve your pronunciation, introduce natural expressions and vocabulary, and answer any questions you have along the way.

→ Planning a trip to France? Practice ordering at cafés, asking for directions, and chatting with locals.
→ Need French for work? Build confidence in professional conversations.
→ Love French culture? Let’s chat about food, travel, films, books, and everyday life.
→ Just want to keep your French alive? Come for a weekly conversation and regular practice.

My aim is simple: to help you stop worrying about speaking “perfect” French and start enjoying real conversations with confidence.
