About Jovana
Coming from a family of immigrants, little was expected of me at school, apart from the bad grades and clumsiness that I presented to the French language when I was little.
But contrary to the expectations of many and the disparaging comments of some, I graduated from high school with honors, paved my way into the best law school in France and, after the comments on my level of French in kindergarten, I learned to speak more languages than those said teachers.
I myself have been a beginner, apprentice, and belittled. I have been classmate of struggling and insecure students.
But that's how I learned to hone my skills, and found the best ways to learn languages.
My classes are centered on the interests of my students, to offer them interesting and effective content, using resources that I myself have been able to test and verify: cinema, audio-visual, podcasts, literature, current affairs, and popular culture in general.
I am attentive to each person's needs and difficulties, and adapt to them.

I was once myself a beginner, and a classmate of struggling students. I remember the teachers who marked my progress and my interest for the language, but also that of those who had no interest in it, and had no self-trust.
I have witnessed the best methods, and I apply them today with my students, for very satisfactory results.
Among my methods, the student will find:
- Deepening of the grammatical bases, conjugations and spelling
- Vocabulary sheets by theme
- Immersion in the language, with the study of modern, literary cinematographic works, based on the interests of the pupil. [N ]

I insist on the playful, interactive and centered on the student's interests, using resources from his daily life and what he-she likes.
