About Antonio
I have a PhD in Economics, and I have lived abroad for almost 14 years. I have been studying and working in English in Australia, Tunisia, France, Holland, United States and Belgium (besides Italy clearly). I developed an excellent knowledge of English, spoken and written, having worked closely with foreigners and native speakers and produced scientific articles in English, presented at international conferences. My approach to the discipline is hands-on: after an initial assessment of the skills, I propose an ad-hoc plan, based on reading newspaper articles or parts of blogs on current issues or topics of common interest (how to present yourself, how to talk about your work, your hobbies, your experiences), translations to acquire and master the English vocabulary and drafting of short texts. All supported by the study of grammar obviuosly. I also offer specific courses for passing university exams and / or international certifications.
