About Frank
On day one, I will teach you how to draw and create your own characters. I won’t bore you with an art history lesson—we’ll dive straight into drawing. Your time is important, and so is mine. The final part of the lesson will focus on storytelling. While it’s technically the less exciting part, in my view, it’s essential for clearly conveying a story. One thing I can promise: by the end of the lesson, you’ll know how to draw dynamic art, understand visual storytelling, and begin developing your own unique art style. Let's Start DRAWING!

Hi, I’m Frank Strallent. I’ve been a comic book penciler and inker since 1990. I drew comics as a side job while in college, and after graduating, I made a strategic decision to pursue a full-time career as a professional comic book artist. My current project is (concealed information) I’ll be sharing the fundamentals behind creating eye-catching artwork—especially high-impact cover art. You have roughly three seconds to capture the attention of a comic book reader or collector browsing through countless titles, whether in a store or online. Your cover must be compelling enough to cut through the noise and motivate that person to pick up the book.
