About Nolan
I am currently a fourth year Health Physics and Radiation Science student, working towards a career in the nuclear research and power sector. I hope to pursue a masters degree in nuclear engineering as well once I graduate. I have a strong understanding of fundamental physics, math, and if need be chemistry and biology as well. Growing up through high school I myself struggled and found myself often reaching out to teachers and other for extra help before and after school, so I understand how hard it can be. After some years of figuring out how to study and work properly, I finally began to excel in University especially in my later years. So I know that there's a lot of teachers who don't understand that struggle and it may discourage you, I want to help and pass on what I learned so student can learn to help themselves when they need. Growing up I also played many sports including AAA and Jr hockey, as well as competitive track and field. Im an easy going person, who likes to engage in lots of different conversations over a broad field of topics.

I am very about understanding the basics as best as possible, I like to keep things light and fun as learning difficult concepts from experience can be quite stressful. I keep a flexible schedule and never overload with too much material or work. If its more of a "cram" and last minute I can taper the lessons and requests in such a manner as well. In terms of lesson, first I always dress the issue and go over the strengths and possible weaknesses of the student, and then come up with a plan to help the student reach their goals whatever that may be. Furthermore I can help with assignments, exam and test reviews, as well as homework.
