About KIRSTEN
I volunteer as a math tutor at my university, where I encounter many students with different learning styles. I've seen their pressure and struggles, and there's always something in me that wants to help them—especially in math, since that is my strength. I enjoy teaching mathematics so much, and I want more people to love it as much as I do. I've actually always thought that mathematics is not hard; we just do not understand it enough, especially its fundamentals. Just like with a friend or a child, it is really difficult to understand them if we don't know where they are coming from. I believe that math can be easy if we just choose to appreciate it and let it be a part of our lives. Ultimately, I can assure you that math becomes fun and exciting once we get to understand it better.

I do not just teach mathematics; I study my students. By identifying their unique strengths and weaknesses, I evaluate their current study habits and guide them toward more effective learning strategies. I also utilize pre-tests and post-tests to measure the effectiveness of my teaching methods, adapting my approach to find more impactful strategies if results fall short.
