About Shyrie

I love helping others and look forward to sharing my knowledge, and learning from you as well! I have many different methods and techniques of teaching to suit many different people and capabilities and have unique ways of learning difficult topics that you may find helpful :) I'm currently a university student myself so I know and remember how difficult exams are and can be, hopefully I can make the exams easier and a more enjoyable experience!

About the lesson

Hey, I'm Shyrie, I am a fourth-year dental student at University. Having previously studied biology, chemistry and maths up to A-level (achieving A* A* A), I feel I greatly understand these subjects and would love to tutor students up to GCSE level! I also have a good understanding of the UCAT entrance exam and can tutor for this as well. I love teaching and have a caring approach as I know first-hand how frustrating and tricky these subjects can be to grasp. I will use a variety of methods (like games, drawings, diagrams, questions and answers etc) to help students to understand and I will adapt each lesson to the students, and use the methods they most enjoy, to ensure each session is a fun and rewarding experience. I am also aware of how tricky exam techniques and past paper questions can be and helping with this is also a main theme of my lessons I will provide 60-90 minute lessons but I am flexible with timings that are best suited to you
