About Kaitlyn
I have been teaching English Language Arts for over four years. I love biographies and short stories. My main goal as a teacher is to make learning fun. This can be achieved through creative writing assignments to games on Booklet or Gimkit. I care for the whole student and will frequently check in and see how you are doing. No one struggles alone in my class.

As a teacher, I believe in the Socratic method. Students should reach their own conclusions on literature or over all ideas. The teacher is solely there to facilitate. My day to day lessons are routinely structured and scaffolded. WE start with bellwork then move into the classwork. Finally students are assigned independent work with frequent check ins and accommodations as needed. Lessons are targeted to students grades 7-12.
