Hi, I’m Hari! Chess has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. Through hundreds of casual Bughouse, Crazyhouse, King of the Hill, and even Standard(!!) games, I’ve developed a deep love for the game and its endless possibilities. Whether I’m diving into puzzle rushes on Chess.com, analyzing past matches, or exploring creative strategies, chess never fails to captivate me. I believe chess is more than just a game—it’s a journey of growth, creativity, and discipline. I bring my dedication, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for teaching to every lesson, creating an environment where students of all ages and skill levels feel encouraged and motivated to improve. With a solid foundation in competitive play and a history of coaching elementary and middle school students, I’m here to share my knowledge and help you reach your chess goals, no matter where you are in your journey. Together, we’ll explore the beauty and excitement of chess while building skills that last a lifetime.

About the lesson

As a former state tournament player rated 1800+, I bring a passion for chess and a deep understanding of the game to every lesson. My teaching approach combines fun drills, essential puzzles, and engaging tactics to make learning both enjoyable and effective.
