About Priscilla
I was a Minnesota Reading Corp tutor for 2 years. Before that, I was a para at a junior high school working with special need students. I have worked with 30-40 + students, one-on-one in different school districts.
The students in Reading Corp were reading below grade level and I was through various reading interventions able to bring their reading skills up to grade level. I attended classes with special need students and helped them with their classwork and preparing for tests.

As I am not a licensed teacher, I adhered to the extensive training of Minnesota Reading Corp under the guidance of a program director, master coach and internal coach, with monthly assessments of my work.
The one-on-one interventions with 1st through 3rd graders allowed for reading skill building on a daily basis, followed by testing once a week to see improvements. Phonics building was key to improving reading skills.
