About Vinay
I had graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and I had started my career as a Professional Math Tutor and I've been doing it on and off for over 15 years. From there, I found my way into the classroom as a High School and Middle School Math Teacher and after that I worked in Enterprise Technology companies for over 10 years serving various capacities including Sales, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Data Science.
I have helped over 100 students increase their grade by one or two letter grades thorugh private tutoring, and through agencies such as Sylvan Learning, ClubZ, and The Mathnasium.

I'm very passionate about Math and I love sharing this passion with students. I'm all about injecting enthusiasm in order to make Math fun and engaging for my students!!
I'm all about asking questions while I'm teaching so that I can get to the root cause of why my student is struggling in a particular topic in Math, because from my experience, it allows my student to be better engaged while learning.
I will first cover a mini-lesson, present an exercise that we go over together, and then I will assign you a similar exercise that you work on on your own with guidance of course!!
My lessons are for students in grades 6 through 12 and adults. I tutor in the following subjects:
