About Sarah

Originally from Switzerland, I have lived in the UK for the past 20 years. I studied Latin and Classics at the University of Nottingham, which ignited my passion for the ancient world. After completing my studies, I embarked on a fulfilling career as a teacher at my local secondary school, where I had the privilege of sharing my passion for Latin and Classics with students. Now, as a self-employed individual, I am eager to continue nurturing this passion through private tuition.

About the lesson

As a former Latin and Classics teacher with 10 years of teaching experience, I’ve helped students master the intricacies of Latin grammar, explore captivating myths, and delve into the rich history of the ancient world. Having taught students from National 4 to Advanced Higher in a Scottish secondary school, and being actively involved in writing exam papers for the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
