About Michael
I am a former language arts teacher and coach with six years full-time experience. I am currently a writer/producer in television and have worked on shows on Disney+/Hulu/Starz, and more. I hold an M.S. in Education with a concentration in teaching writing and an M.F.A. in Advanced Film and TV Writing. I love to teach and like to connect with students to make the process fun. I believe in creating individualized lesson plans based on a student's needs. I assess how a student best learns, based on Gardner's multiple intelligences theory, then align that with state goals in the subject. It's critical for students to have ownership over their education, so I like to make tutoring as interactive as possible. And fun!
