About Steven
I have a B.S in Biology and a Masters in Middle & Secondary Education. I taught public high school for five years in Arizona and have decided now to follow a different career path.
By tutoring individuals I can still satisfy my passion for passing on knowledge. Since I taught high school for so long I'm not just familiar with the biology content--I'm familiar with how to make it understandable and entertaining to people who maybe don't like biology quite as much as me! :)

I'm very easy-going and like to make learning fun. I'm big on visual learning (using YouTube videos, etc.) and really big on kinesthy2ketic learning. That's where you're actually doing something/moving to help with the learning.
Think about it--if you need to know how to get somewhere, how would you best remember the route? If someone just verbally explained the directions, if you simply looked at the route on a map (visual), or if you actually drew the route yourself using the map as your guide? Visual learning is good, but kinesthetic is how most people learn best!
