About Sarah
I think what sets me apart is that I am not a native Spanish speaker. I learned in school and I have a college degree in Spanish. I have found that being a non native Spanish speaker makes me a good teacher because I know how to learn it. I hope that makes sense! I also have lived abroad and traveled to many Spanish speaking countries. Additionally I have experience teaching high school Spanish and have worked in a Spanish only elementary classroom. I love seeing students improve their Spanish skills!

Typically I like to assess my student's Spanish language experience and go from there. We can focus on any part of the language whether it be vocabulary, verb conjugation, pronunciation or any area that the student wants to focus on. Once we determine our focus of study we start with the basics and then build on those. No Spanish experience necessary - I love teaching beginners! Happy to help students at ANY level!
