About Hichem
Hi, I’m Hichem! I recently completed a master’s degree in Financial Mathematics at Concordia University, where I also taught calculus and worked as a teaching assistant for several math courses. I’ve been tutoring since 2017, and I genuinely love helping students realize that they’re more capable at math than they may think.
I’m patient, encouraging and comfortable teaching in either French or English. My goal is to create a relaxed space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and steadily building confidence in their abilities.

My name is Hichem, and I believe math becomes much easier when the explanation fits the student. I usually begin by finding where the confusion started, review the concept clearly, and then work through problems together before letting the student try independently.
I’m patient and don’t mind explaining the same idea in several different ways. Having taught university calculus and worked as a tutor and teaching assistant, I’m comfortable helping students from secondary school through university. Lessons are available in either French or English and can focus on understanding the material, catching up or preparing for an exam.
