About Lauren

I have been playing Fastpitch softball for 25 years. My softball career started with playing recreational softball into travel ball where I was a player as well as offered lessons to younger players, umpiring young players and providing group lessons for local recreational teams. After high school, I continued my softball career and played for my college near Milwaukee. While playing college softball I was offered the opportunity to coach 2 high school teams as well as a travel team in the Milwaukee area. Near the end of college, I was offered an opportunity to represent USA collegiate softball team in Australia where I soon decided to continue my education. After moving to Australia I continued playing softball for my University as well as continued coaching the local recreational team and the State team. During this time I pursued my dream of obtaining my doctorate in physical therapy while playing the game that I love not only for my university but also representing my city in state tournaments.

About the lesson

I provide one-on-one or small group lessons to work on not only softball skills and mechanics but mental preparation and situational exposure to prepare you as a player with not on physical skills but mental as well. I specialize in outfield skills as well as small ball and base running. Lessons are tailored based on the needs of the player and what they strive to achieve. With a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy I focus on the movement of the body to minimize the risk of injury as a player and increase agility and endurance to best benefit the player during play. Lesson are offered to all ages and all ability levels. If you are just looking for a winter tune-up or continued lessons through the season I am here to encourage you as a player and athlete.
