About Hazel

I am a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master of Arts in French Linguistics in International Studies. My teaching blends language learning with global cultural awareness. I believe that understanding culture is as important as mastering grammar and vocabulary. In my lessons, I incorporate current events, intercultural dialogues, and media from Francophone countries. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on helping students gain confidence and fluency in French. We practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive exercises and real-life examples. I also introduce fun activities to explore cultural context and natural language usage. I support students in reaching their goals, whether adapting to a new country, enhancing travel experiences, or learning French as a hobby. Lessons are structured yet flexible, balancing grammar, vocabulary, and conversational practice. I help learners build confidence step by step, celebrating progress along the way. Through focused practice on verb forms, sentence structure, and idiomatic phrases, students gain accuracy and fluency. I encourage curiosity and creativity, making lessons enjoyable and memorable. My goal is to make French learning accessible, practical, and motivating, helping every student succeed.
