About Addy

Hello, I'm Addy. A native Chinese Mandarin speaker from Taipei, Taiwan. I've enjoyed living in Shanghai, Paris, and Japan.

For me, It's not just about teaching Chinese; it's also about sharing culture and experiences. In our lesson, I will share with you why native speakers will say this, and how we imagine Chinese when we speak.

Brief introduction:

*Have ten years of work experience in advertising, technology, and marketing.
*As a designer, photographer, and Project Manager at different international agencies.
*Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the National Taiwan University of Arts.
*Native Speaker with over 3 years of teaching experience, and have obtained dual certifications for Chinese teachers in the UK and the US
*Passionate traveler, having explored over 55 cities across 16 countries, and passed the certifications for Foreign Language Tour
*An enthusiast of art, culture, and history, I've recently embarked on teaching art history in Chinese.
*A language learner, learning French, Japanese, and Taiwanese now

With over ten years of experience working in different countries and industries, I can help you enhance communication with colleagues, clients, and supervisors and prepare for interviews.

If you want to refine your pronunciation and intonation, no problem—that's my specialty. I can help correct and perfect your pronunciation and intonation to sound more natural and fluent.

Perfect! Addy was so patient with me! I appreciated how she made sure to talk about culture as well as just language and point out what phrases you might hear in a textbook and what phrases native young speakers are more likely to casually say. Lessons were individualized and catered to what I wanted to learn the most.
