About Andrew
I have a four-year Bachelor’s Degree (Honours equivalent) in TESOL and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Additionally, I hold a Certificate IV in Certificate IV in Health and Natural Therapies. Because of this, I am well versed in health and medicine related terminology.
Currently, I work as a casual university tutor at Flinders University. I teach English grammar, writing, and editing skills to nursing students, and English linguistics to first-year speech pathology students.
During my previous employment, I worked as a full-time ESL teacher and as a casual OET interlocutor at IELI and demonstrated excellent standards of performance. I have taught a wide variety of levels of English, and I have extensive experience in teaching international students from various cultural backgrounds. Additionally, I have broad experience in lesson planning, creating personalised materials to meet students’ individual needs, and I am eager to be in a role which provides a variety of work and personal challenges.
