About Annette
I am a maths specialist teacher, fully qualified, with 20 years experience, I am a happy and enthusiastic person, I enjoy learning and inspire my students to discover how to become independent learners. I am particularly interested in History, Music, and Science, ( I hold a BSc degree from the Open University) but my consuming passion is the teaching of mathematics.

I provide a learner centred experience which aims to equip the student with a deeper understanding of their difficulties together with the tolols and motivation to over come them.
I use a wide variety of materials including apps, physical activities, real models, thought experiments...However, my most powerful tool is always to listen and watch the learner, only then can I discover how much they understand and how to use all my experience, creativity, resources and imagination to help them to move on with their learning.
