About Lily
Hello! My name is Lily, and I am a first-year Science student at McGill University. I am a native English speaker and speak French fluently (DELF B2 certified). I am a dedicated and patient tutor who will always put your needs first. I have the ability to approach problems in a number of ways in order to meet students where they are and help all learners master the material. In my free time, I enjoy running and spending time in nature! I am very friendly and have worked with youth ages 5-15 through my job as an overnight summer camp counsellor.

My tutoring services are for elementary and high school students in math and chemistry.
In a tutoring session with me, you may expect 5 segments.
1) Outline material to be covered, highlighting difficult concepts.
2) Explain concepts and basic strategies useful to approach the problem.
3) Cover many example problems, working together to think through the steps necessary for the solution.
4) Discuss which problems are the most difficult to solve. Revisit these questions.
5) Outline a self-study plan to take home.
I am extremely flexible and accepting of all skill levels and needs.
