About Thomas
Hello, my name is Thomas Riad. I am originally from Egypt but my family moved to the U.S. about 11 years ago. I attended the University of Houston (2017-2021) for my undergraduate degree. I am currently a first-year medical student. For as long as I remember, I have had a great passion for medicine and teaching; my aspiration is to one day become a medical school professor.

For the past 7 years, I have had the great privilege of tutoring middle school, high school, and even college students in various courses primarily in Math and Science. My approach as a tutor is to break the components of the lessons down to their most basic and fundamental levels. From my own personal experiences I have found that memorizing concepts follows almost effortlessly after first understanding them. Emphasis on understanding the concepts also helps you retain the information long-term.
No matter how late it is in the semester, and how much you feel like you have fallen behind, you can rest assured that we could work together in figuring everything out and get you the best possible grade in your classes.
