About Fionn
My name is Fionn, and I’m currently studying Engineering at UCD on an academic entrance scholarship, having achieved the maximum 625 points with all H1s in my Leaving Cert. I’ve been exactly where you are, and I know how overwhelming the exam pressure can be, but I also know that with the right strategy, guidance, and mindset, you can achieve the results you’re aiming for.
I specialize in tutoring maths at both Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert level and physics for Leaving Leaving cert students. My approach is results-driven, structured, and tailored entirely to each individual student. I break down difficult maths and physics concepts into clear, manageable steps and focus heavily on exam technique, timing, and mastering marking schemes because doing well isn’t just about knowing the material, it’s about knowing how to use it under pressure.
I have a strong track record of naturally helping peers and younger students simplify complex topics, and I take real pride in being a tutor who listens, adapts, and motivates. Because I successfully balance a heavy engineering workload with sports, the gym, and playing the drums, I teach students how to study with maximum efficiency without burning out.
