About Harani

Hello! I'm Harani, a qualified English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher with a First-Class Bachelor of Education (TESOL) degree and several years of experience teaching at an international school. Throughout my career, I have worked with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, helping them develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed in English.

I specialize in teaching Cambridge IGCSE ESL and supporting secondary school students in improving their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. My experience has also allowed me to prepare students for examinations, strengthen their academic English, and build their confidence in using English both inside and outside the classroom.

My lessons are designed to build confidence while developing the essential skills needed for academic success and real-life communication.

I am a First Class Bachelor of Education (TESOL) graduate with several years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in international schools. I have taught students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, specialising in Cambridge IGCSE ESL and secondary English. My experience includes preparing students for examinations, improving their academic writing, strengthening grammar and vocabulary, and developing confident speakers of English.

My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and goal-oriented. Every lesson is carefully planned according to each student's ability, learning style, and objectives. I use a variety of teaching methods, including guided practice, communicative activities, authentic reading materials, vocabulary development, grammar in context, exam-focused techniques, and continuous feedback to ensure steady progress. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and use English confidently in meaningful situations rather than simply memorising rules.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Lessons include a balance of explanation, guided practice, independent activities, and review to reinforce learning.
