About Patrick
Hi all. I have recently graduated from the University of Manchester with a Master's in Physics. I enjoyed studying this subject as I found it fascinating how mathematics and logic come together to help us make sense of some seriously complicated natural phenomena! I used to find Maths my most challenging subject, and understand how daunting it can be. Through a great deal of perseverance I managed to turn this around and do well in GCSE and then A level (including self studying Further Mathematics). I am always looking to learn new things and am in fact currently studying mathematical statistics part time at The Open University.

My goal on this platform is to provide support to students and help them overcome any difficulties they encounter. I hope to achieve this in three steps:
1) Identify what topic the student needs help in.
2) Help the student make sense of the topic. Break it down and clarify any misunderstandings the student has.
3) Work through practice questions with the student to prepare them to tackle questions on their own.
If the student has a specific set of questions they would like me to explain, then I am happy for these to be sent to me and I can prepare and then go through each question in the session.
