About Habiba

Habiba is an enthusiastic tutor with over 7 years’ experience who is skilled at identifying and quickly managing foundational gaps in students’ knowledge in order to help them quickly achieve high exam results and gain entrance to top universities. Habiba has analysed past exam questions, markschemes and specifications to help students optimise performance with easily digestible tips and tricks. Habiba has studied at Oxford, graduating with a degree in Law with First Class Honours. She has also studied at Imperial College London and thus has a broad and unique range of expertise, covering Law, STEM subjects and university applications. Habiba’s students report that she is friendly, excited about learning and teaching and very easy to understand and learn from.

About the lesson

Habiba's central ethos is to help students improve as fast as possible by equipping students with the necessary tools they need to efficiently master the LNAT. Habiba couples non-substantive strategic exam-taking tips with the results of her analysis of past-exam questions. This helps students to see fast and consistent improvement, culminating in the achievement of high grades which universities like Oxford and Cambridge look for. Habiba is also a skilled argumentative writer, and helps students to write with the clarity and brevity necessary to communicate ideas with excellence in Section B. Furthermore, Habiba uses technology like Obsidian and Devonthink to help students come up with creative and distinctive ideas to set themselves apart from the crowd in Section B. Habiba is also skilled in the development of broader exam strategy, namely the extent to which time should be dedicated to each section, as well as to other forms of admissions prep like interview and personal statement preparation: based on the skills that each university to which her students are applying (and the skills they prioritise), Habiba helps students to manage their time so that they can maximise their chance of reaching their dream university. Habiba offers 60-minute lessons, but (as with all aspects of her work) lesson length is variable to best meet the needs of each student. Habiba's lessons are tailored for online learning, with these sessions often being more efficient than in-person tutoring (though both are available to students in Oxford).

He was still in year 10 and I needed tuition and tried few teachers until I found a brilliant A level student Ms.Habiba El Khatib.

Her passion for chemistry and learning were contagious, she’d deliver the information and boost his energy on any day.

The following year Habiba left to the UK to study chemistry. And we continued the lessons online, which proved very useful when Covid-10 hit and we were all in lock down.
